Where do I find my email notification settings?

To get to the notification selection:

  1. Click on the Main Menu and then on 'Settings'.
  2. Once you are on your account admin, click on the 'Notifications' tab.

You'll see three items in your preferences.  In the next section, we'll go into what each of these items does.

What does each notification preference mean?

Supporter notifications are split into two main groups:

1.  Creator Interactions

These notify you of activity from Creators you follow or subscribe to.

  • New Posts
    • This option lets you know when a Creator you follow has made a new post on The Floor.
  • New Events
    • This option lets you know when a Creator you follow has created a new physical or online event.
  • New Membership
    • This option lets you know when a Creator you follow has made a new Membership Subscription with benefits.

2.  General Notifications

These notify you of updates and information from The Floor company and platform.

  • Event Reminders
    • This option reminds you that you've booked an event.  It's sent on the day that event is due to start.
  • Platform Updates and Announcements
    • This option lets you know when a major update to the Platform has gone live.
  • The Floor Monthly Newsletter
    • This option will add you to our Newsletter mailing list so you can keep up to date of news around The Floor company and Platform.

How to change your notification preferences

By default, some of the above options are on so that you get the best experience out of The Floor.  If you would like to change these settings, its really easy!

Simply click on the selection switcher next to the corresponding item you want to turn on/off.  Your changes will be saved automatically.
